The annual Delta Heritage Award has been slated for June 20, 2018, at Orchid Hotels DBS Road, Asaba, Delta State, with the theme “Unlocking Delta’s revenue prospects beyond oil; a private sector approach’. The award seeks to reward excellence amongst the most committed and dedicated businesses operating in the State.
The Award’s focal point is on recognizing outstanding corporate organisations and individuals who have positively impacted the economy of the state. According to the event’s Secretary, Ms Nancy Grace Okoroh: ‘aspiring entrepreneurs with interest in expanding their businesses, will have the opportunity to interact with key influencers and decision makers in different sectors of the economy as well as initiate on new business ideas and relationships.
“The award I focuses on recognising outstanding corporate organisations and individuals who have positively impacted the economy of the state. There will also be a summit session where CEOs, Entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs with interest in expanding their businesses, will have the opportunity to interact with key influencers and decision makers in different sectors of the economy as well as initiate on new business ideas and relationships.” The summit is also designed to offer participating business owners and CEOs a global perspective on how to overcome their own current business challenges by providing practicable solutions and new business innovation, experiences and knowledge sharing experiences.
Participants will have the benefit of having to interact with professionals who are keen on providing solutions to Africa’s most challenging economic, social and environmental problems.
